Sailing Rules For Dejaye

The Sail Boat

The Yacht

I love taking my boat out on the Blake, sail to one of my favorite spots and drop anchor.  I like the sound of the ocean, it gives me inspiration and offers a tranquil atmosphere to work on my to do list.  So this post is all about showing respect on the sea.  For the most part it's an enjoyable experience, but every once in awhile you get that one person who tries to fuck with your good time.  Quit it dude, it ain't cool.

HERE'S HOW I RESPECT YOU ON THE SEA:

1.  I don't sail like I'm in a race to cross over your path before you hit me, I slow down or change course so you are free to keep on course.

2. I use my mini map as a compass, not only does it keep me sailing in a straight line, it lets me know when another boat is near me so I can change course if needed.

3. For air and sea, I try to avoid crossing a sim line at the same time as others, it helps your computer process the next sim for you easier and decreases the chances of you being thrown from your boat during the crossing - plus for you and me!

THIS IS HOW I WANT TO BE RESPECTED ON THE SEA:

1. Please do not message me with sexual comments about me, my boat or what you'd like to do to me on my boat.  This will get you automatically muted with absolutely no warning!

2. Please don't board my boat unless I give you permission, respect my space!

3. Please refrain from harassing me - shooting lazers at me will only get you derendered and muted.  Once I've done that, don't waste your time, I won't even know you are there!

RANDOM STUFF:

1.  If I don't respond to your horn, or your IM it's because I'm either in RL or working on something in another window.  Sorry!

2. I accept random friend requests and I use contact sets, so unless I know you well enough to be on my actual friends list, you'll be placed on my advertising list for my dance team - check out my team in my SL profile pics or you can check them out here!  Dance Xcetera
