A Long And Overdue Update

So many things to talk about. First...I moved again. It's a beautiful sim, done in a mountain theme and I'm back living in my log cabin again which makes me very happy. Hopefully this will be my last move for a long time. I'm renting from my friend Misty and it's her home sim too so I'm pretty sure we're going to be there for a very long time.
As most of you know I am a VIFL cheerleader for the Silver Ravens. Recently, I became a VIFL Diamonds Cheerleader, it's sort of like an elite squad and I'm very happy about that.
My photography is moving forward full swing now, I've opened up all of my services again. If you have read my blog from my Serenamor website I was burned out for a bit and needed a break but I'm back from that now.
I'm no longer breeeding munkins, that was a joke. I'm breeding jingjings which are cute, I've included a pic above. I'm still doing horses but working my way out of them, they just aren't selling for me like they used to.
So that's about it for now. :-)

I Gave Up...And Gave In!

Ok so the log cabin was just not working for me, as much as I loved it, being on a tropical sim....its a feng shui thing. Now that I have this new house, it inspired me to add some more palm and a little bit of rock to the landscaping and although it's not a masterpiece, it's home.

My house is a two bedroom, one of the rooms I turned into a closet for all my vendors. For those of you who have not read my past blogs, I keep a lot of my clothing in vendors rather than in my inventory so I must have a room set up as a closet! The living room is quite large with a divider, so I'm using one section of it for a movie room, I love watching movies in SL. I also had to move my office back over to my studio, which is no big deal since I have an office over there that wasn't being used.

So now I am all officially moved into my new home. The log cabin barn is staying, only because I have yet to find a barn that looks beachy that allows me to utilize it in the same fashion that I do for breeding my horses. I may just break down and retexture it to suit the land a little better but quite frankly I really haven't been in the mood to do any building lately. Oh well, I'll just save that for another time. :-)

Changes

Well, after over a year of living on the Weir Point sim, I made the decision to move. I have been struggling keeping afloat for these past few months with it and I just couldn't carry the load anymore, so the time has come to move on. I found a nice little quarter spot on a sim called "Give," and it's enough room to put both my home and business there. I think the horses, munkins, and myself will be very happy here.

So the pick above is my log cabin, on a beach...at my new home. Sorry, I just can't part with my log cabin. I tried, I put up a cute beach house I once lived in before I moved to Weir Point but it just didn't feel homey enough for me. I have loved my log cabin for a long time and to me, it's home. One of the great things about SL is you can pretty much have whatever you want so I'm having my log cabin on my little piece of tropical paradise. Don't laugh at me. :-)

Cheering

I wanted to wait until my cheer card was ready before I blogged about cheerleading. Season III has started and I am cheering for the SFL Silver Ravens, my sisters team. I ended Season II cheering for the Onyx Bills and I had a great time, but when Dutch told me she was moving on to the Royal Redskins, it was only natural that I join her there. Since it was a new season and my contract was open, there were no issues being earmarked for the Redskins. Shortly after Season III began, Dutch bought her own team, the Ravens and I really wanted to move, so the owners of the Redskins graciously let me out of my contract with no fines in order to allow me to join the Ravens team. So this is my home, and I plan to stay with the Ravens for as long as the SFL is around. I like being with the Ravens, not only are the girls absolutely awesome to work with, but the real life Baltimore Ravens is my home team, so I'm doubly proud to be on the Ravens team. We are definitely a team to watch out for, we play hard and we have fun doing it. If you haven't been to a game and you like football you should come out and see us in action. It's a lot of fun!

Joey...Fun with Zooby Babies

A few momths back my sister Dutch and her husband had a son named Colton Jr. Dutch keeps me informed as to how little Colton Jr. is doing when we talk. I love to hear about how he is learning to talk, crawl, and say words. To some of you, you may find this a bit odd but to the family roleplayer, its music to ones ears, particularly if you happen to own a Zooby baby. It doesn't surprise me one bit that someone finally came out with a baby that you actually have to take care of in sl, and surprises me even less that the remarkable people at Zooby are the ones who came out with it.

I spent an evening with Dutch and she showed me everything she has to do to take care of little Colton...bathing, diaper changing, and feeding are just a few things. Well why couldn't they have had this when my Jayde and Joey were born? While I was explaining this to Dutch, I figured I would take Joey out to show Dutch how the "old" Zooby baby used to be when all of the sudden, he updated. So I'm having fun with Joey. The pic above is him and I, too cute right?

For those of you out there who love to family roleplay, I urge you to take a trip over to the Zooby store for one of these cuties, they are a lot of fun to have and trust me, you will fall in love!

Catching Up and other things

It has been so long since I've really sat down to type anything here - I figured I would take a break from organizing my inventory to update myself.

The most important thing to date....I'm up to my ears in breedables! Right now I'm only doing Amaretto and ABC horses, but that's all about to change soon. I'm adding Amaretto Barnyard Birds and Munkins to my list of habits. I love the challenge of working with pixelated breed logic. :-)

I've also made some changes to my business. I'm not doing general photography anymore. After five years I'm just on a serious burnout. I still plan to do weddings, pregnancy packages and morphs, as I really still do enjoy working on those. I think it's just time to take a break and work on something new.

I've been playing with opening up a small wedding venue and a friend of mine has really been supportive of me doing that. He thinks I can be really successful with it since I know the ins and outs of working with weddings. I may do that, but it would mean closing my auction house for ABC in order to free up the prim to do it. We shall see where I go with that. ABC horses have not been doing too well and a lot of people are not happy with the creators. My two best friends decided to get out of doing it which leaves me to do them alone, and hold out hope that they will pick up soon.

I've been playing alot of Byngo lately, hoping to get that big superpot! The last time it was won the pot was over 800K! Gawd the things I could have done with that money! Oh well, wasn't meant for me I guess, but I'll keep playing because it's too much fun to pass up. I'll take my munkins *shown above* with me and maybe I'll get lucky. So far the orange headed troll whos been accompanying me hasn't been much help.

Well that's it for now. :)
